Preparation

  1. Preparation: preheat the oven to 220 °C (fan oven). Cut the red sweet pointed peppers into strips and the red onion into thin quarter rings. Cut the mozzarella into pieces and grate the Parmesan.
  2. Topping: fry the pointed peppers in olive oil until they start to brown. Gently fry the onions until they are translucent. Finally, add the garlic and fry briefly, making sure it does not burn.
  3. Topping the pizza: place the pizzas on parchment paper. Spread half a jar of tomato sauce on each pizza base. Divide the pepper, onion and garlic mixture over the bases. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, the pieces of mozzarella, black olives and some chopped oregano.
  4. Baking: place the pizzas in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the mozzarella is melted and lightly golden brown and the edges of the base are crispy.
  5. Finishing: remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle with a little Bertolli olive oil. Garnish with fresh oregano leaves.
  6. Serving: Cut the pizza into square pieces and serve immediately.

Buon Appetito!
